We’re not sure why it took so long for some Chinese company to make its own “version” of Apple’s iPad Mini. Perhaps we missed some previous product, perhaps not.
Anyhow, we have one such device here, and it’s called GooPad Mini 2. However, despite its name, this is a clone of the original iPad Mini rather than the new version with Retina display.
Specs wise, the GooPad Mini 2 has a 7.85-inch screen with 1024 x 768 pixels resolution, MediaTek’s 1.5GHz quad-core chip, 1GB of RAM, 5-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front cameras, 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity and a 4,100 mAh battery.
The (fake) tablet is available in silver and white, and costs $196.99. We would say it’s a solid deal, except that we won’t – cause it borrows too much from Apple (hence we can’t recommend it). But you are free to find it online if you care that much. We just ain’t gonna share the link here. 😉
