Samsung seems super-bullish on the prospects of its tablets. According to Korean ETnews, the company is looking to ship no less than 100 million of these devices next year. You got that right, Sammy pretty much wants to rule the day and further establish itself as a leader in the Android market.
The Korean giant is reportedly talking to the companies across its supply chain to make sure there are enough components to make this happen. At the same time, we’re sure their marketing department is thinking how to reach as many users as humanly possible. And if they pursue this plan, we’re expecting nothing less than an ad assault on all of our senses as Samsung is trying to sell us its tablets (and phones).
On the other hand, this could be just a wild rumor. While the company is dominating the Android tablet landscape, it still has a long way to go to convince users their tablets are worth the premium. We’ll see whether they’ll be able to pull this off…
