After many in–the–wild photos, BlackBerry has officially announced the luxury version of its Z10 smartphone, made in partnership with Porsche Design. The new BlackBerry Porsche P’9882 keeps most of the Z10’s specs, including a 4.2-inch 1280×768 screen, 1.5GHz dual-core processor and 2GB of RAM. The change was made in the amount of built-in storage that in this version includes a full 64 gigs, allowing you to store pretty much all of the photos and videos taken during the lifetime of the device.

However, the main change is in the materials used. This premium Z10 is crafted from stainless steel and Italian leather. Also as part of the deal, you’ll get a few differently colored Italian leather backs to make the phone fits the rest of your clothing.

Finally, let’s not forget a “unique” BBM PIN which should make owners of this phone “instantly recognizable.”

As for the price, the Porsche Edition Z10 could be yours for “as little as” £1,400 (about $2,250). That’s like a small change for all the “recognition” you’ll get in return, right? 😉
