ZTE Nubia Z7 with 6.44-inch screen caught in the wild

On the heels of the newly announced Nubia smartphones, we bring you the first leaked photo of the forthcoming Nubia Z7. Like its name says, this unit comes with a massive screen, and will thus compete with the likes of Samsung Galaxy Note III, HTC One Max and Sony Xperia Z Ultra. The Z7 will rock a 6.44-inch full HD screen, 3GB of RAM, up to 128GB of internal storage, LTE connectivity support and a 13-megapixel camera with an f/2.0 aperture. Additionally, ZTE’s phablet will also come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 “8974AB” processor which is a beefier variant of the regular SD 800 and the one Note III uses, as well.

It is said that Android 4.4 KitKat will run the show right from the get go. What we don’t know is the launch date. The chances are the Chinese vendor will use either the upcoming CES in Las Vegas or Mobile World Congress in Barcelona to officially announce the Nubia Z7. We’ll let you know what comes next…
