Huawei Ascend P6S caught at China's certification body

The rumored Huawei Ascend P6S has been caught at China’s equivalent of the FCC, from where we also get to learn about the upcoming phone’s specs.

And these include the next-generation Huawei K3V2 Cortex-A9 chip clocked at 1.6GHz, Mali-450 GPU, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. In addition, there’s also a 4.7-inch 720p HD screen, 8-megapixel camera on the back and 5-megapixel one on the front. Moreover, the Chinese company managed to cram a slightly bigger battery in the P6S. Size wise, the Ascend P6 successor measures 132.6 x 65.5 x 6.48 mm and has a weight of 120 grams. So the P6S is slightly thicker than its predecessor but that is justified with a bigger battery.

Yeah, we’re pretty confident Huawei has a winner at hand and I guess now it’s all about timing the launch… and we hope this will be a short wait. We’ll let you know when we hear something new on this. Stay tuned…
