If you’re a fan of both Amazon and an Android user, the chances are you’re making some app purchases through Amazon Appstore. Up until this point, the problem with this scheme was that Amazon’s app failed to impress (unlike its web store). This in turn, pushed many users who initially liked the idea of shopping for apps from Amazon back to Google Play Store.
Enter Amazon Appstore app v7. The application looks like it’s revamped from the ground up, providing users with a much-improved experience, while bringing a whole new UI to the mix. It still lacks “standard Android buttons,” but it feels much better than the previous version, nonetheless. Moreover, the scrolling which used to be a nightmare on mid-end devices is vastly improved (though not perfect) and there’s no more legacy menu button.
Yup, we suggest giving it a second chance. Amazon is notorious for offering some great deals on apps (and other stuff for that matter) so why not take a shot. And having a single account for all (or most) of your shopping “needs” seems more convenient. Right?
