Android 4.4 KitKat has barely began its rollout to select Android devices, and it looks like Android 4.4.1 could be rolling out soon. The update will more than likely be full of bugfixes for the Nexus 5, Nexus 4, Nexus 10 and Nexus 7.
The story comes to us from 9to5Google, who has uncovered a whole mess of devices running Android 4.4.1 from their server logs, with the traffic originating from none other than Santa Clara, California, the home of the Googleplex.
I’m sure most of you are waiting on your devices to be updated to Android 4.3 still, so the 4.4.1 release probably isn’t the biggest of deals for you. For owners of Nexus devices, the Moto X and Developer Editions of the HTC One or Samsung Galaxy S4, this update could solve most issues you have been having with the 4.4 update so far. Look for it in the near future.
