While Nintendo’s Wii U console is taking a pounding from the PS4 and Xbox One, the company still dominates the portable console market with it’s Nintendo 3DS and DS devices. Ninitendo’s 2DS, basically a 3DS without the 3D and foldable body hit the market in late August, coming in quite a bit cheaper than its 3DS counterpart. Nintendo has revealed the first Nintendo 2DS bundle for the holidays, and it’s one for the record books.
Nintendo is offering a red Nintendo 2DS with Pokemon X pre-installed, which will be available from Target for $150. Toys R Us will carry a blue 2DS with Pokemon Y pre-installed, available on December 6th as well for $150. That’ll save Pokemon fanatics a little bit of loot, and is a great way to experience Nintendo’s most recent incarnations of Pokemon.
