Samsung could be releasing around a half-dozen new smartphones in the beginning of 2014, according to Korean media outlet ETNews. That means that the Galaxy S5 isn’t all Samsung has up their sleeves for the new year.
While it’s not uncommon for Samsung to unleash many smartphones of varying specs throughout the year, this report confirms that Sammy is looking to start 2014 out with a bang. The new smartphones are not just destined for the U.S either, so many of the devices unveiled in January could never see the light of day in the U.S.
We could be seeing the Galaxy Note 3 Lite, a Galaxy Grand Lite and a new Galaxy Gear smartwatch as well in the new year, alongside the Galaxy S5 which is rumored to launch in January of 2014.
As rumors fly, we’re still not quite sure what to expect from Samsung. But if the Galaxy Round is any indication, we’re sure to see some interesting designs and beefy hardware configurations come 2014.
