We’ve been hearing before that Oppo is working on the successor of its Find 5 smartphone. The rumored Find 7 may launch in the near future now that LTE has become reality in China.
Few days ago the company posted a teaser image on their official Weibo account saying “4G LTE, I’m ready!” The image could be welcoming the 4G launch in the country, but also to pre-announce Oppo’s upcoming smartphone, the mentioned Find 7.
And so the rumors were started. Some sources claim the next Oppo flagship will have specs that are comparable to the also upcoming Vivo Xplay 3S. These include a 2K screen (2560 x 1440) and 3GB of RAM. Moreover, some suggest it will rock Qualcomm’s newly announced Snapdragon 805 chip though we have hard time imagining something like that. Simply put, that processor won’t be available soon enough and we’ll rather have to wait for the second half of next year to see the first Snapdragon 805-powered devices.
In addition, the Find 7 will apparently also come with a 13-megapixel camera on the back, 5-megapixel front-facing one, and of course, LTE connectivity support.
All said, and given Oppo’s track record, we expect nothing less than an impressive product from the Find 7.
