We don’t get to write about Gionee’s products that often. However, last time we were talking about their rather awesome Elife E7 smartphone, which is still one of the best phones ever made. And guess what? The company unveiled its “Mini” sibling.
The newly announced Gionee Elife E7 Mini is an impressive smartphone by any stretch of imagination. It comes with a 4.7-inch HD screen, MediaTek’s powerful 1.7GHz octa-core chip, and a neat 13-megapixel swivel camera. In addition, there are also two SIM card slots, 2,100mAh battery and 16GB of expandable storage.
All this will soon start selling in India for INR 18,999, which translates into some $307.
As that’s usually the case with smaller handset makers like Gionee, their products rarely, if ever, end-up selling in the Western hemisphere. We do hope that both the regular Elife E7 and its Mini counterpart will find its way to Europe and the U.S. In the meantime, check out few hands-on photos brought to us by the good folks of FoneArena.
