Huawei will most-likely announce the Ascend Mate 2 at forthcoming CES in Las Vegas. We’ve already seen that phablet leaked before and today we bring you much better photos, depicting this huge phone all in its brushed metal glory.
Specs are still unconfirmed, but we’re hearing the Mate 2 will come equipped with a 6.1-inch full HD screen, Huawei’s own quad-core chip clocked at 1.6GHz, Mali 450 graphics, 2GB of RAM and at least 16GB of internal storage (or more).
As a reminder, the original Ascend Mate was unveiled at 2013 CES but has failed to reach many customers — it was available from just a few operators. We’re sure Huawei will try to reach more users this time round, and is probably pitching major carriers as we speak. We’ll see how that goes, and in the meantime here are few additional Ascend Mate 2 photos.
