Been waiting to get your hands on Google Glass? If you’re a subscriber to Google Play Music All Access, the odds may be in your favor. Google began sending out invitations to purchase the hot new wearable device to some, if not all, Google Play Music All Access subscribers. Google Glass doesn’t come cheap though – the device carries a $1500 pricetag.
Purchasing Google Glass has been limited to those who have signed up and been accepted to Google’s Glass Explorer program, which began in 2012. Google has been closely limiting the amount of Glass devices they have been releasing, with most of the devices going to developers and media. Google has opened the door up for more people to enjoy Glass before its commercial launch which is expected to occur in 2014.
Google is sending the invites out via email, so if you’re a Google Music All Access subscriber, check your inbox for the invite, and have that $1500 ready to roll.
And no, you can’t pay with Bitcoin.
