2013 is just hours away from concluding, and that means the annual New Year’s Eve celebration in New York’s Time Square is about to kick off! Afraid you are going to miss the celebration? Fret not! Thanks to a few mobile apps, you can watch the festivities even if you are on the go. The coverage begins at 5:55 p.m. EST, and includes live performances by Miley Cyrus, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Blondie, Icona Pop, Jencarlos Canela, El Dasa and Rodney Atkins and Melissa Etheridge.

There are a few ways to watch the ball drop tonight on both iOS and Android devices, and they both come in the form of downloadable apps. Here’s a rundown:

Livestream– The Official Times Square New Year’s Eve 2014 Live Webcast is appearing on Livestream, meaning that it can be viewed through the iOS and Android apps. Just fire up the Livestream app and search for 2014 New Year’s Eve.

Times Square Official Ball App – This app is available for both Android and iOS devices, and lets you do much more than just watch the ball drop. This app includes a countdown clock and displays Tweets from the Times Square Ball Feed. When the time is right, click on the New Year’s Eve 2014 stream button and the app will direct you to the Livestream channel.
