It’s CES week, and Qualcomm has dropped the price of its Toq smartwatch in honor of the huge tech event. The Toq is now $299, $50 lower than its original price of $349. This deal is running until January 11th, so grab your Qualcomm Toq soon if you want to save a few bucks on an awesome smartwatch.

A few Qualcomm Toq features include:

  • Mirasol display technology – always on, always visible reflective display technology that utilizes ambient light to enable a crisp and clear viewing experience even in bright sunlight;
  • Qualcomm WiPower™ LE technology – enables a hassle-free, true “drop and go” wireless charging experience; and
  • Stereo Bluetooth audio experience – first truly wireless stereo headphones that sit outside the ear canal for all day comfort and wearability (available via the Premium Audio Edition version–details coming early 2014)

The price drop makes the Toq $50 cheaper than Samsung’s Galaxy Gear, and believe it or not, the Toq has more features and flexibility than Sammy’s flashy option.

A bevy of smartwatches are expected to be announced at CES this year, many being touted as “affordable.” If you’re on the fence about the Qualcomm Toq, you may want to wait until more products are announced before grabbing the $299 piece of wearable tech.

Purchase the Qualcomm Toq here, and check back with us for coverage of the waerable devices that will be unveiled this week at CES in Las Vegas.
