AT&T has started rolling out Android 4.3 update for its Samsung Galaxy S4 Active. Alongside the platform update, users also get support for the Galaxy Gear smart watch. Moreover, there’s the ability to drag and drop to uninstall or disable applications, along with AT&T Signature Experience preloads. These include a number of apps such as Kindle, Lookout, City ID, Password Keeper, Games and AT&T Mobile Protection.
Before you go crazy, go through this short checklist:
- Make sure your battery is fully charged.
- Connect to a fast Wi-Fi hotspot to make the download faster (the new firmware weighs 772 MB).
- Push “Update” if you’re prompted to do so, or manually check for firmware updates through Settings -> About phone,
You’re good to go. Hopefully, by the time you finish reading this, your Galaxy S4 Active will run the new software.
