As expected, Motorola announced that its Moto X is coming to select European countries, including France, Germany and the UK. The price of the unlocked unit is set at £380 or 399 Euros, though users in some markets will have to pay more — for instance, it will go for 429 Euros in France. Or they can get it for free (in all 3 markets) as long as they sign-up for a carrier contract.
The sad thing though is that Europeans won’t be able to customize their Moto X handsets with Moto Maker. That feature won’t be available on the launch day (February 1st) and will have to wait for another day.
In the UK, Phones 4u scored 90-day exclusive launch rights for the white model, leaving only the black version for other retailers.
Again, the Moto X rocks Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 dual-core chip clocked at 1.7GHz, 2GB of RAM, 4.7-inch 720p HD screen, 10.5-megapixel camera on the back, and 16GB of internal memory. However, what makes this software special is software which is always listening and quickly responding to your voice commands.
