LG G Pad 8.3 coming to Verizon Wireless

LG G Pad 8.3 coming to Verizon Wireless

Looks like Verizon Wireless won’t stop with Nexus 7 2013 Edition – it plans to expand its tablet offering by adding the LG G Pad 8.3, as well.

The news comes from EVleaks, which spilled on the beans on many leaks before. In a short tweet, they said LG’s Android tablet is “headed to Verizon.” No dates were given but we doubt this will be a long wait. Quite the contrary, I would say we’re days or weeks away from the official launch.

For those of you who missed it, the G Pad 8.3 is one of the best Android tablets you can buy today. It’s not only easy to carry around but also powerful, rocking 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core chip, 2GB of RAM, 1200 x 1920 pixels screen, 5-megapixel rear and 1.3-megapixel front cameras, and 16GB of internal storage. Unlocked it costs $349.99, so we would guess Verizon will offer it for some $100 on contract. Though we could be wrong…
