Meizu is preparing for a global expansion. After announcing its intention to enter the U.S. market in the third quarter, the Chinese firm is eyeing Europe for new customers. In fact, it will apparently announce its European plans as soon as next month, sharing the big news from the floor of Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
According to GizChina, Meizu wants to underprice major vendors, offering comparable handsets for up to 30% less. This, in turn, would make the likes of MX3 cost as much (or as little) as Nexus 5. Considering this phone’s specs, users would get an awesome deal.
And that’s just a start. By the end of this year, we should also see the Meizu MX4 announced, offering top-notch hardware for a reasonable amount of cash. Plus, let’s not forget all those rumors involving a Meizu-made Ubuntu phone. Yup, an interesting year is ahead of us. Can’ wait.
