LG announced that its G Flex smartphone is coming to Europe. And no, not just one country – but quite a few of them. The Korean giant will make its curved device available in over 20 markets across the Old Continent, starting with the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Sweden and Austria.
Pricing and availability will vary by market, but in most countries users will be able to get the G Flex for free as long as they commit on a not-that-cheap two-year contract.
“The introduction of the LG G Flex in Europe demonstrates our confidence in the global marketplace for a curved smartphone,” said Dr. Jong-seok Park, president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company. “As a premium smartphone, the G Flex will further establish LG as a brand that offers something unique for every consumer segment. This is a device that is guaranteed to start a conversation wherever it goes.”

This last feature makes it immune to minor scratches and nicks. Pretty cool, but alas, all this comes with a price tag…
