Huawei will apparently join the smart watch craze later this month. That’s right, the Chinese company will launch its very own watch during Mobile World Congress, though unfortunately we don’t have all the details just yet. Chances are, Huawei’s baby will come with support for any number of notifications, ability to track your steps and so on, all while relying on your smartphone for Internet connection.
In addition, we may also see two new tablets unveiled at that time. One of them, MediaPad X1, will be pretty awesome, rocking a 7-inch IPS display with impressive 1,920×1,200 resolution, along with a pair of cameras (5MP on the back, 1.3MP front-facing one), 1.6GHz quad-core HiSilicon Kirin 910 processor and 2GB of RAM. You can see this tablet’s mockup below.
The other tablet is a mystery and as far as we (don’t) know, this could be the earlier rumored MediaPad 10S, which obviously comes with a 10-inch screen.
Finally, we may see new phones unveiled in Barcelona, but the Ascend P7 will reportedly have to wait for another day. Instead, Huawei may show us some rather unimpressive mid-end gear. We’ll see…
