Nexus 7 Now Available for Purchase Through Verizon

Verizon customers, the wait is over! Beginning February 13th you can get your hands on the 2013 model of the Nexus 7, complete with LTE. The device is the same Nexus 7 you know and love, just with the ability to support Verizon’s LTE data network. As a refresher, the 2013 Nexus 7 comes with a 1920 x 1200p 7 inch display, a 1.5GHz quad-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and a 5MP rear-facing camera and wireless charging.

Verizon has the Nexus 7 priced at $249.99 with a new two-year contract, or $349.99 outright.

Verizon’s website doesn’t clearly state what version of Android Verizon’s Nexus 7 will be running, but hopefully we see it ship with Android 4.4 KitKat.

Head on over to Verizon’s website to order your 2013 Nexus 7 today.

I don’t get the inconsistent subsidizing going on. Some tablets get subsidized $200, while others are only $100 off. Despite all requiring the same 2 year contract and service pricing.
