Google I/O has received an official date, thanks to a Google+ post from Sundar Pachai. Google I/O 2014 will take place on June 25th and 26th at the usual fare, Moscone West in San Francisco.
Google is changing up the ticketing system this year, in an effort to smooth out the rough process of purchasing tickets for the developer’s conference. The new registration system is a lottery of sorts, with interested attendees notifying Google of their interest and Google picking random applicants. This differs from previous years, where tickets to the conference would go on sale and be quickly snatched up only to be sold on eBay for absorbent prices.
Like years past, the events of Google I/O will be livestreamed for those who cannot attend the event.
Google will be opening up the Google I/O 2014 attendance application process soon, so be on the lookout for more details on Google’s new registration process soon.
