Microsoft has officially announced the Xbox One Media Remote, providing a simple way for Xbox One owners to control their TV and other media. The remote will be available in early March for $24.99 in the U.S.
The Xbox One Media Remote allows users to control Blu-ray and streaming video playback on their Xbox Ones, as well as accessing TV shows and movies with one touch using the dedicated OneGuide button on the remote. The remote can also control TV and receiver power and Kinect volume using the built-in IR blasting. The remote also features backlit buttons which activate via motion.
If you’re looking for a traditional style remote to control your Xbox One media with, the Xbox One Media Remote could just be the answer for you. Look for it on store shelves come early March.
