Huawei has officially announced the earlier leaked Ascend G6. The mid-end device looks sexy, and should deliver great value for money. While we don’t know how much the Chinese firm will ask for the unlocked handset, it’s hard to imagine that buying the Ascend G6 will break anyone’s bank. The specs are as follows:
- 4.5-inch qHD (540×960 pixels) IPS display
- 1.2GHz quad-core processor
- 8-megapixel camera with BSI sensor and LED flash on the back
- 5-megapixel front-facing camera (for great selfies)
- 2,000 mAh battery
- Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with Huawei’s own Emotion UI 2.0
The Ascend P6 will be offered in 3G and 4G/LTE variants, with former having a slightly thinner body (7.5mm vs 7.85mm). The Chinese company will start selling the 3G Ascend G6 later this quarter, while the LTE variant won’t hit the store shelves before April.
