Huawei unveiled a new, great-lookin’ tablet that looks like an oversized HTC One all with dual speakers on the front. Here’s the specs rundown:
- 8-inch 1280×800 pixels IPS display
- 1.6GHz quad-core HiSilicon Kirin910 processor with Mali 450 graphics
- 1GB of RAM, 8GB of expandable storage (via microSD cards)
- 5MP auto-focus camera on the back, 1MP front-facing camera
- Android 4.2 with Emotion UI 2.0
- 4,800 mAh battery
- Optional LTE Cat4 connectivity support (for downloads of up to 150Mbps)
All this is packed into a 7.9mm-thick aluminum body that weighs just 329 grams.
The Huawei MediaPad M1 will be available later this quarter across Europe, Russia, the Middle East, China, Japan, Asia Pacific, Australia and Latin America. Pricing details were not mentioned… We do have another press image to share, though; check it out.
