Aside from the MediaPad M1, Huawei also unveiled MediaPad X1, the 7-inch tablet we’ve seen leaked in the past.
As you would imagine, this is a smaller device [than MediaPad M1], but powerful enough nevertheless, despite dumping aluminum body for the one made of plastic. On the other hand, the X1 has much better cameras — there’s a 13-megapixel Sony shooter with LED flash on the back, coupled with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
At just 7.18mm, the MediaPad X1 is one of the thinnest tablets ever made. That, however, hasn’t stopped the Chinese firm from cramming its own Hisilicon 1.6Ghz quad-core processor under the hood, as well as a rather decent 5,000mAh battery.
We’re expecting this bad boy to start selling within the next few months. It will likely debut in China with other markets getting it soon afterwards…
