Fake Samsung Galaxy S5 appears in China

Wow, that was fast. Only two days after Samsung’s official announcement of the Galaxy S5, China’s GooPhone managed to clone it.

The end-result is actually pretty decent, though you should refrain from buying it at any cost. We can’t support this form of blatant IP infringements and you shouldn’t either.

Anyway, the newly unveiled GooPhone S5 is currently listed as out of stock, but we’re sure the new units will arrive soon. It comes with a 5-inch full HD screen, MediaTek’s 2Ghz octa-core MT6592 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory, 13-megapixel camera on the back, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, while Android 4.2 Jelly Bean is running the show.

All in all, it’s not a bad phone per se, but again – you’re much better off buying something original. And no, we ain’t gonna give you the link to the page from where you can order the GooPhone S5…
