Kendrick Lamar has just been added to the lineup of Apple’s first music festival, the iTunes Festival which will be held in Austin, TX on March 11-15th. The festival will be held at ACL Live at the Moody Theater. The five-day festival has already gathered a star-studded lineup, which spans every genre from hip-hop to alternative.
Apple is releasing the lineup slowly, announcing only a few performing artists every few weeks. Just yesterday, Apple added Soundgarden to the festival lineup, where they will perform their 90’s classic album “Superunkown” in its entirety.
So far, Apple has announced artists such as Coldplay, Imagine Dragons, Pitbull, ZEDD, Willie Nelson, Keith Urban, ScHoolboy Q, Isaiah Rashad, Band of Skulls and Capital Cities.
Can’t afford to get to Dallas for the iTunes Festival? No problem. The entire festival will be available for free via the iTunes Store for iOS device owners. The events will be streamed live, and will be available through the iTunes Festival app for iPhone, iPad, iPad Touch, Apple TV, Mac or PC.
Get ready, the iTunes Festival begins on March 11 and runs until March 15th.
