LG F90 coming to Now Network as Sprint Volt

LG F90 coming to Now Network as Sprint Volt

The newly announced LG F90 is coming to the U.S. where users will be able to get it from Now Network. However, this rather mediocre smartphone won’t be known as F90 — it will be sold as Sprint Volt.

Despite the name change, this is the same device the Korean company announced in Barcelona. It has a 4.7-inch qHD (540×960 pixels) IPS screen, 8-megapixel camera on the back, VGA front-facing camera, 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core chip, 512MB of RAM, 4G LTE connectivity support, and 4GB of expandable storage. Android 4.4 KitKat is running the show right from the get-go.

It’s unclear when Sprint will officially announce the Volt / F90, but chances are this won’t be a long wait. We’re also unsure how much this device will cost, though we think it will be a rather inexpensive device, with the carrier likely targeting first-time smartphone buyers or folks looking for an affordable smartphone. We’ll see…
