If you own T-Mobile’s LG G2, you’ll want to read this. The carrier has approved the KitKat update, and has started rolling it out to select group of users. This select group includes those who don’t want to wait for the Over-The-Air (OTA) update and don’t mind cramming the latest software version using the PC utility.
Considering all the benefits KitKat brings to the tablet — which make the G2 faster — installing LG PC software is well worth the effort. Alternatively, you can wait for another few days to get all those goodies without firing-up your PC. It’s your call.
Aside from significant performance boost, the new software also adds white notification bar icons and other graphic changes that make for a that much better user experience.
