Aside from all the performance improvements Android 4.4 KitKat will bring to the LG G Flex, users may also get 4K video support as part of the deal. PhoneArena‘s tipster found a User Agent profile to prove this.
That’s kinda surprising considering that the G Flex has a 720p HD (rather than full HD) screen; we would be happier if LG managed to include support for 120fps slow motion video to the mix, but alas – that part won’t be included at this point. Perhaps in some other future update; perhaps not.
In any case, 2K video support isn’t something that should make or break your G Flex purchase. That device is bought for its novelty that comes in the form of the big, bendable screen and associated technologies (battery in the first place).
