In a short but sweet Twitter post today, BlackBerry has announced an upcoming update to its BBM app for the Android platform. The update, which will begin rolling out later today will fix a few bugs including emoticons in status updates, web link malfunctions and a few more yet unknown fixes.
Look for the BBM update to land on your Android device later today, if it hasn’t already. If you don’t have BBM installed don your Android device, head to the Google Play Store and try out BlackBerry’s answer to instant messaging.
