We still don’t know what to expect from Apple with its next iPhone release. Even though the Cupertino company hasn’t even hinted at what the iPhone 6 or iPhone Air could look like, design concepts have been trickling out, envisioning what could be the next iPhone. A new concept video has come to our attention, and as far as concept videos go, its pretty conservative. Most concept designs go all out, envisioning tech and features that are innovative and interesting, but just not plausible. The new iPhone Air concept video from Sam Beckett lives in the more sane realm of concept designs, one that could be right on the money.
Beckett’s concept video introduces the next iPhone as the iPhone Air, as opposed to the logical iPhone 6. It has been speculated that Apple may call the next iPhone the Air, joining Apple’s lineup of Air branded devices such as the MacBook Air and the recently announced iPad Air.
As far as the display goes, Beckett envisions a 4.7 inch sapphire crystal display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080p, and 468 ppi. The bezels have been reduced, with the frame around the screen taking disappearing almost completely. A 10MP camera graces the rear of the device, and a touch ID sensor which is present on the iPhone 5S is in tow.
Design wise, the iPhone Air resembles the iPhone 4 and 4S with what looks like glass covering the rear. The iPhone Air is definitely shiny, where the iPhone 5S takes on a more matte look.
Check out the concept video below, and let us know what you think the next iPhone will look like.
