Sprint Expands 4G LTE Coverage to 20 New Markets

Sprint continues to expand its 4G LTE network by lighting up twenty new markets today. The new locations that are now covered by Sprint’s 4G LTE are as follows:

  • Bakersfield, CA
  • Bridgeport/Stamford/Norwalk, CT
  • El Centro, CA
  • Hot Springs, AR
  • Kenosha, WI
  • Lancaster, PA
  • Mason City, IA
  • Myrtle Beach, SC
  • Nogales, AZ
  • Ocean City, NJ
  • Omaha, NE
  • Peoria, IL
  • Provo/Orem, UT
  • Sarasota/Bradenton, FL
  • Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, PA
  • Shawnee, OK
  • Trenton/Ewing, NJ
  • Visalia/Porterville, CA
  • Willimantic, CT
  • Zanesville, OH

Today’s upgrade brings the total number of cities covered by Sprint’s 4G LTE up to 402, and puts the company well on its way to completing its goal of covering 250 million people by the middle of 2014.

If you reside in any of the aforementioned cities and have a 4G LTE capable device, get ready to see a serious increase in data speeds today.
