Current HTC One Mini owners may be wondering when they’ll get their updates now that HTC has officially announced the All New One. If you’re an AT&T customer (with HTC One Mini), we have good news to share – the first update is coming your way by the end of the week.
This, however, won’t bring the all new Sense 6.0, but Android 4.4.2 with Sense 5.5. It is a major update nevertheless, as you will be able to more easily edit content sources in BlinkFeed as well as remove it altogether from the homescreens if you fancy so. In addition, there are updates to the Music and Gallery apps, and the security portion of the lockscreen is now transparent. Plus, let’s not forget the new battery icon which has gone from green to white, and a number of bug fixes and performance improvements.
As for when can you expect to get Sense 6.0, it should be out at some point in June or July… as we’ve covered in a separate post.
