AT&T teases us with PadFone X specs, says nothing about launch date

PadFone X

AT&T has posted details on ASUS’ PadFone X specs while failing to say anything about the launch date. Originally announced at CES in January, the PadFone X will be the carrier’s version of the New PadFone Infinity though with a smaller tablet shell (9- vs 10-inch). It will come with full HD screens on both the phone and tablet parts (phone has a 5-inch display), 13-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front cameras on the phone, 1-megapixel front-camera on the tablet, 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core chip, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage. The phone part will have a 2,300 mAh battery, while the tablet’s battery will have a capacity of 4,990 mAh.

AT&T also released a short a short video that talks about the design history of PadFone X, adding that we should “stay tuned for ordering and availability details.” Here’s that clip… while we wait…
