While Nokia and Microsoft are busy unveiling tons of new services and devices in San Francisco, Sprint is busy sending out event invites for an April 29th event in which the mobile carrier could unveil plans to roll out the company’s HD Voice technology. HD Voice has made an appearance in Kansa City, with Sprint promising to roll out the service to residents in Philadelphia and Baltimore in just a few weeks.
Sprint’s HD Voice service provides high quality voice calls, eliminating noise and tinny sounding voices on compatible devices. Sprint would like to see HD Voice expand to cover the entire United States by July.
We’ll see just what exactly Sprint has in store for us at the company’s April 29th event.
