Google I/O registration opened up this morning, giving developers and Google enthusiasts the chance to receive tickets for the June 2014 event. For Google I/O 2014, Google has completely revamped the registration process, introducing a lottery of sorts which will determine who will be able to purchase tickets to the event. This year, perspective attendees must register with Google anytime from today until Friday, April 18th. Google will then initiate a lottery, choosing attendees from the pool. Tickets for I/O will run you $900, unless you can prove you’re a student, at which point the price drops to a mere $300.
Google will pick the lucky winners early next week, so you will have all weekend to bite your nails in anticipation of being chosen. Make sure you have your Google+ profile and Google Wallet all set up before you enter.
