With its vast user base, Samsung is able to get special deals from a number of companies, Amazon being one of them. And guess what, the online retail giant turned infrastructure provider has agreed to create a custom Kindle store for Samsung Galaxy owners.
The Kindle for Samsung app should already be available (I haven’t check it) from the Samsung Apps store Galaxy S5, and many other Galaxy smartphones and tablets as long as they run Android 4.0 and above.
As part of the service, Amazon will launch Samsung Book Deals, offering up to 12 free eBooks a year to all referred Galaxy device customers who use the service. People can choose a free book from a selection of four different titles every month. Each book is chosen “specifically for Galaxy users from a wide “selection of prominent titles.” Not sure how that selection takes place, but free is free – so it’s a good thing.
Yet another reason to buy the Galaxy S5 over HTC One M8. Or not? What do you think?
