As part of the plan that seems envisioned to prolong the life of the aging Droid Maxx smartphone, Verizon decided to launch two new color variants. The Droid Maxx in glossy red and black with chrome accents both come with just 16GB of internal storage, and a lower price of $99 with two-year contract or $499 sans any strings attached.
If you need more storage, there’s the old black model with 32GB of space that could be yours for $50 or $100, depending whether you want to sign a contract or not.
Aside from the fresh paint job, this remains the same Droid Maxx under the hood with same software running on top of Android that includes Touchless Control and Active Display. So who’s in?
