There’s as an interesting article in British The Telegraph claiming that 38% of the users who upgraded to a Samsung Galaxy S5 switched from an Apple iPhone. Gathering data from the mobile trade-in website CompareMyMobile, the report says that the majority of Apple users who made the switch traded the iPhone 4s. In fact, CompareMyMobile saw a 210% increase of trade-ins for this device.
The Samsung Galaxy S3 is the second most traded device with 196% increase of trade-ins, while the iPhone 5s came in third with 184% rise of trade-in requests.
Overall, CompareMyMobile has an increase of trade-ins by 160% since the Galaxy S5 was unveiled at this year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
And we thought the Galaxy S5 isn’t a worthy successor to the Galaxy S4?
