Verizon's Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition gets KitKat update, too

The other day we’ve told you that Wi-Fi only Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition is getting the Android 4.4 KitKat update. Now Verizon Wireless’ version is following suit, bringing the same goodies to LTE-enabled variant.

As that’s usually the case, these sort of updates are rolled out in stages, and if you still haven’t got the latest software – don’t worry, it’s coming any day now. The update to the Wi-Fi only version weighed in at a whopping 550MB, so I would assume owners of the LTE variant can expect a similarly massive download. In that sense, you’re best off connecting to a fast hotspot to make for a that much faster download. Also, make sure your battery is fully charged to have enough juice to complete the process.

Aside from all the stability and performance improvements, the new software will also bring updates to many Samsung apps that should make for an improved user experience…
