Huawei Ascend P7 Announced With 8MP Front-Facing Camera in Tow

Chinese manufacturer Huawei has just announced the Ascend P7, and it’s looking pretty sweet. The Ascend P7’s 5 inch screen comes covered in Gorilla Glass 3 and rocks an 8MP front-facing camera, ushering in the age of decent looking selfies. Android 4.4 KitKat can be found on board powering Huawei’s HiSilicon Krin 910T chipset, a 1.8GHz quad-core Cortex-A9 CPU. The P7 has 2GB of RAM, and a Mali 450 GPU.The P7 comes with 16GB of internal storage which can be boosted up to 32GB via a microSD slot.

As far as cameras go, the P7 is packing lots of pixels under its belt. As I mentioned before, the front-facing camera comes in at 8MP, while the rear-facing camera packs a wallop at 13MP. The rear shooter can capture 1080p video, and includes voice activation as well.

The phone will be available from May in black, white and pink color options and will carry a price of €449. The Ascend P7 will be available in China, the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Ireland, the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, Poland, Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, Serbia, Greece, Norway, Hungary, Denmark, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Austria, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates and other markets in the coming future.
