Oppo could be cooking up a miniature version of its N1 smartphone, as well as a successor to the N1, the N2. Oppo’s N1 launched in last September to much fanfare, and was the first smartphone to come with CyanogenMod on board. With mini versions of flagship devices all the rage these days, a mini N1 is not out of left field.
The funny thing about the N1 mini is that it’s not really mini at all. The little N1 is rumored to come rocking a 5-inch screen, which is a tad bigger than even the iPhone 5S’s screen. compared to the N1 however, 5-inches does suddenly look a little small; the N1 has a 5.9-inch screen. Ok Oppo, you were right.
As far as the processor goes, the N1 mini is likely to come touting a MediaTek MT6592 or Samsung Exynos 5422. Not much else is known spec-wise at the moment, and no word whether the N1 mini will come with CyanogenMod like it’s bigger sibling. Here’s to hoping so.
