During last month’s BUILD conference, Microsoft announced that Prestigio will start making Windows Phone devices. And now we get to learn what the first device made by this company will be all about – the upcoming Prestigio MultiPhone PAP5507 DUO will come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 400 chip, 1GB of RAM, Gorilla Glass 3-protected 5-inch 720p HD screen, HSPA+ and Wi-Fi connectivity, and 8GB of expandable storage. In addition, it will also sport an 8-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front-facing one, while Windows Phone 8.1 will run the show right from the get-go.

According to WMpoweruser, Prestigio’s mid-ranger will go on sale in select European and Russian markets in July. We’ve no idea how much it will cost, but chances are this will be a rather affordable product. More to come, obviously.
