Philips is preparing one of those super-mid-rangers for the ever-growing smartphone market of China.
The upcoming Philips l928 has been caught at Chinese social network Weibo and from there we get to learn what’s it all about – this unit will rock a 6-inch full HD screen, MediaTek’s eight-core MT6592 chip, 2GB of RAM, 13-megapixel rear camera, dual-SIM capability, and 16GB of expandable memory.
Design and build-wise, the l928 is made out of polycarbonate with the addition of leather-like texture on the back panel. Yeah, Samsung won’t be the only one with this capability…
Now, we’re not sure when Philips will officially announce this phone; chances are it will be a China-only device, though you never know…
