The other day we’ve told you that Samsung won’t be the only handset maker working on the Prime variant of its current flagship device. HTC is thinking between the same lines, preparing the One M8 Prime as we speak.
Now we have new details to add to the rumormill. According to Russian hi-tech.mail.ru website, this model will rock a ceramic body. You got that right, the Taiwanese company will dump aluminum for a potentially even more durable material that could deliver that much better feel in your hand.
The story goes on to suggest that the One Prime will be launched at some point in September, hinting us HTC won’t affiliate this phone with the upcoming Transformers: Age of Extinction blockbuster. Perhaps Samsung does that?
Anyhow, it is said that HTC’s flagship device for the second half of the year will rock a 5.5-inch QHD screen (2560×1440 pixels), 3GB of RAM, at least 16GB of internal storage, 300Mbps LTE connectivity support and the fastest quad-core chip available at that moment. It could be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 805 or perhaps even the 64-bit Snapdragon 810. Needless to say, we’re rooting for the latter. 😉
