AT&T LG Optimus G Pro Gets Android 4.4.2 Update

LG Optimus G Pro owners on AT&T will be receiving a sweet treat soon. AT&T has begun the OTA rollout of an update for the G Pro which includes Android 4.4.2 KitKat, bringing the G Pro up to snuff with the LG G2 and G Flex.

The update is rolling out as we speak, and will be landing on AT&T devices throughout the day. The update is a beefy one, around 800MB, so be sure to connect your device to WiFi before downloading. Having a fully charged battery couldn’t hurt anything, either. If you are like me and can’t wait for new software updates, you can always check for the update manually by heading to Settings > About Phone and hitting the Software update button.

Enjoy, and let us know how yo like Android 4.4.2!

Need some help. Can anyone help me? I have this phone, e980 but I’m in Ecuador and I’m using it unlocked. Is there anyway I can upgrade it without flashing? Lg mobile support tool? Call AT&T? Any1 have any suggestions? Whenever I try and upgrade normally it says I’m not registered, when I called LG they told me that was because I was using it unlocked and not on AT&T. HELP!!!!
