Ladies and gentlemen, what you can see here is the first press render of the upcoming HTC M8 Ace.
As we’ve heard before, this will be a plastic variant of HTC’s flagship phone with “beautiful curves.” Alas, it will have a single rather than a pair of cameras on the back, while the rest of the specs will remain the same. These [specs] include Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 801 chip, 2GB of RAM, 5-inch full HD screen, 16GB of internal storage, LTE connectivity support and so on.
The important thing to note here is that the use of plastic will allow HTC to make this a much more affordable phone. In fact, the Taiwanese firm hopes to convince wannabe Galaxy S5 owners that this is actually the device they want. We wouldn’t be surprised if it’s marketed with taglines such as “no need to pay a premium for plastic.” Or something of that sort.
Anyhow, seems to me that the M8 Ace will launch in the next few days, or weeks, when we’ll get back to you with all information we get at that moment…
